Sheep and Goats will be on display this weekend

- The Greatest of All Time Sheep and Goat Festival is returning to the New River Valley for a third year. Jennifer McClellan, president of the New River Valley Sheep and Goat Club shared her enthusiasm with WDBJ 7.

McClellan cares for sheep on her Riner farm, Nolley Wood Farm. She explained to WDBJ7 that sheep are raised and bred for specific reasons. Some are wool producers, others produce meat and the purpose of some sheep is to produce milk for cheese.” She also shared the following.

“We just got an award for Outstanding One Day Event of the Year for 2022. I’m really excited about that and we’re going to do it bigger and better this year,”
