Grant Gustin is a singer and actor who was born on January 14, 1990, and grew up in Norfolk Virginia. He is best known for his roles in Glee and The Flash and at the beginning of June, found himself on the list of celebrities who have been falsely reported as deceased. The Internet was buzzing that Austin had died but it was not true.
This was just another celebrity death hoax that upset fans of the actor for no reason. It's not clear what the purpose is to falsely report that celebs who are alive and well have passed away but it happens. Some fans believe the initial post and become upset and offer condolences. Rumors of the actor’s alleged demise gained traction on Sunday after a ‘R.I.P. Grant Gustin’ Facebook page attracted nearly one million of ‘likes’. Those who read the ‘About’ page were given a believable account of the American actor’s passing.
Although many were skeptical of the report of Gustin's death hundreds of his fans believed it and immediately began writing messages of condolence on the Facebook page. There were expressions of sorrow and sadness that the talented 33-year-old was deceased and the Twittersphere was buzzing over the fake news. Some fans immediately believed the post, while others were skeptical right away, possibly because of the many fake death reports about other famous people. Please spread the news that Virginia's own Grant Gustin is still in the land of the living.
