Tyler Christopher's fans are showing support

Good evening Virginia soap fans, one of your favorite actors Tyler Christopher is in the news and his fans are rallying around him Christopher is best known as the original Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital and also for portraying Stefan Dimera on Days of Our Lives. Earlier today TMZ reported that the daytime fan favorite was arrested for sleeping on the floor of an airport while he was drunk.

Christopher's supporters are slamming TMZ for reporting the incident and pointing out that the actor has admitted in the past to being an alcoholic which is a disease. Tyler's followers are saying they believe he was unjustly arrested and question whether or not he was set up.

“I’m just sad for him. Alcoholism is a horrible disease. And when did sleeping on the airport floor a bad thing, my daughter did it when she missed a connecting flight & the next flight wasn’t until the next morning. No one woke her up,”

Some fans are concerned that Tyler has ruined his chances of returning to General Hospital as Nikolas but the ABC soaps has not even mentioned recasting the role since Adam Hauss was last seen. General Hospital Blog says Christopher was arrested for being drunk in public at the Burbank Airport but some of his fans wonder if he was disturbing the peace and s are questioning the reason he was arrested.

“If he wasn’t bothering anyone then why was he arrested? This doesn’t sound right. I feel like this was unjust. Unless he was really causing some major problems, how many of us have slept on the floor of an airport before? I know I’ve done it plenty of times.”

Tyler Christopher's followers are hoping things will work out for him

Tyler Christopher had 2 DUIs in 2019 and later shared with his followers that he was living sober. He even said if he were asked he would return to General Hospital. Fans are saying on social media that they are praying for him and wishing him the best.

,“As far as I’m aware, Tyler hasn’t hurt anyone except himself, unlike others we can all name. He deserves at least a tiny measure of respect for that. I’m rooting for him to find a treatment option that will work for him in the long run. He was drunk and asleep. Big deal.”

The Brady Brothers — Tim, Brian, and Andy have revived a tradition that Roanoke hasn’t seen in more than 100 years. In the 1900s after North Carolina went dry John Casper Distilling which sold alcoholic beverages via mailorder came to the "Noke." Casper was only in the area for a few years and left before prohibition went into effect.
