Do citizens of the Commonwealth care about the May 6 coronation?

Queen Elizabeth II showed up in Virginia 4 times during her reign which is more than any other stateside visit. King Charles III made a stop at a Virginia JC Penny when he was married to Princess Diana but are citizens of the Commonwealth as a whole invested in the May 6th coronation? Prince Harry's book Spare broke records in the UK and the US but there is no visible record of how many copies were purchased in the Old Dominion.

There is worldwide speculation regarding whether or not Meghan Markle will attend the big event and even soap spoilers are reporting about the Duchess of Sussex but how do Virginians feel about it all? In May 1953 Queen Elizabeth had a favorable approval rating in the States but there was little interest in her coronation. 70 years ago, however, there were no worldwide web-cell phones or other methods of mass communication.

Today whatever is done in any corner of the globe is immediately available to those who live elsewhere within minutes. The May 6 coronation will be televised as well as on several internet channels for live streaming. There are currently no polls that show specifically how Virginians feel about the big day but like the rest of America, there will be those who are invested in watching the ceremonies and others who don't really care. Should King Charles II, Queen Consort Camilla, or others in the royal family decide to make a stop in this neck of the woods they would be greeted warmly because that's the Virginia way.
