What was Prince Harry thinking?
The old saying that loose lips sink ships might be true in the case of Prince Harry who could possibly be kicked out of the US. If you read his memoir Spare you know that he mentioned drug use and mushrooms to deal with his current situation at that time. Harry spoke freely and honestly in interviews as if there would be no consequences but harsh penalties are a reality Britain's GB News is reporting that the Prince has been given a warning - being royalty is no excuse for illegal drug use and now his US visa might in jeopardy.
This has led to right-wing think tank The Heritage Foundation calling for Harry's visa application to be released so the American taxpayer can understand whether the Duke declared his drug use.US immigration law has harsh penalties for lying to immigration officials, including deportation and being barred from applying for citizenship.
Prince Harry's admission alone might not get him deported
The Hindustan Times says the Heritage Foundation has called for Prince Harry's visa to be made public because if h did not admit to taking drugs on record he could be in trouble. In January, GB News reported an admission that can often lead to Britons being banned from entering the US but Prince Harry would probably keep his visa despite admitting to drug use in his book. A lawyer from the firm Laura Devine Immigration told GB News that Prince Harry's admission alone will not be enough to affect his eligibility for a US visa.
