How long will Patrick Duffy and Linda Purl stick around this time on B&B

Actors Patrick Duffy and Linda Purl are dating in real-time and in November 2022 appeared as a reel-time couple on The Bold and the Beautiful. Duffy portrayed Stephen Logan the father of Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), Katie Forrester Spencer( Heather Tom), Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), and Purl played his girlfriend Lucy. Soaps in Depth is reporting that the duo will reprise their roles on Wednesday, March 2022.

There is no news on how the duo will fit into the B&B storyline but their return to LA coincides with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) being back on screen. Duffy 73, and Purl 70 gave an interview to PEOPLE in September 2022 and shared that they had been dating for two years and Duffy shared how close the two had become. "Our lifestyles make us very compatible in almost every conceivable way,"

When Stephen and Lucy show up in LA they will find that a lot has changed since their last visit when Brooke was hurt that Ridge was going to marry Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). Brooke and Taylor who had been sworn enemies for the past 30 years are now besties and both have decided to put Ridge in their past. Perhaps Stephen will discuss this current situation with his daughter or maybe he is in town for another reason. Maybe, The Bold and the Beautiful will keep these veteran actors around on a recurring basis or even on contract so stay tuned for updates.

If you have been following Ingo Rademacher's situation for the past year and a half and wondered about his lawsuit there is now an update. Portuguese man o' war are washing up on Virginia beaches

Portuguese Man o’ war are a collection of genetically identical lifeforms that look like jellyfish and function together as one being. The name comes from the fact that as a group these animals resemble an 18rh century Portuguese battleship. Man o’ war have an inflated air sack that is used to keep the sea creatures on top of the water and helps them navigate the oceans. Virginia Beachgoers from the Outer Banks to the Chesapeake Bay are reporting seeing these organisms whose sting is pretty painful but not deadly to humans.

Governor George Patton's grandson and Governor Younkin were on hand at D-Day Memorial. There was a special commemoration of the slain D-Day soldiers on Memorial Day 2023, May 29th at the War Memorial in Bedford, Virginia. On June 6, Governor Glen Younkin was on hand and spoke at the 79th commemoration of the invasion of Normandy at the Memorial. 10th Street from Williamson Road to Orange Ave is becoming more dangerous

WDBJ 7 is reporting that a "serious" accident has closed all lanes of Orange Ave from 10th Street to Gainsboro. No details have been given and the exact location of the accident is not known at this point. What is a reality for people living in the area is that ever since Roanoke City removed the traffic light at 11th Street and Orange when they widened 10th Street there have been a number of accidents in the area since then.

Virginia families with children receiving free and reduced lunch will receive a final P-EBT benefit in July

Some Virginia families will receive a P-EBT summer bonus. It was determined in May that COVID was no longer a Public Health Emergency and P-EBT benefits were cut off. Some Virginia families have been struggling since their monthly pandemic EBT stipend has been discontinued. For specific families in the Commonwealth there will be one last bonus for qualifying families, from the Virginia Department of Social Services, A final Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer payment will arrive this summer but only for families of children who are receiving certain benefits.

RCPD and Fire and EMS rescue a dog from the New River

In Roanoke, for the past week, a bear has been roaming in Northwest City and evading WIldlife Control officials. It was initially spotted at Round Hill Elementary School and on Thursday afternoon had made it's way a few miles away and was seen at Central Baptist Church. RAM House offers a challenge to the Roanoke Valley to help the homeless

Roanoke Area Ministries also known as the RAM House is offering a challenge to the Roanoke Valley to assist them in offering help to the most vulnerable in the area. RAM is in need of a new building due to an increase in homelessness in the area and the current building at 824 Campbell Ave SW is no longer able to fill the growing needs of the agency. RAM serves breakfast to the homeless and lunch to anyone who is in need and they are open 365 days each year. They feed an average of 200 people a day just for lunch and have helped about 2,000 individuals with over $300,000 in financial assistance that prevents them from being homeless.
