Trina may be fighting a losing battle
Soaps.com spoilers for General Hospital say that Trina Robinson (Tabaayana Ali) will stick to her guns regarding a situation next week. Some fabs are thinking it is related to continuing a relationship with Spencer Cassadine (Nikolas Chaves) in spite of how her family feels about him. Celeb Dirty Laundry, however, reveals that this will be regarding finding out for certain that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is her biological dad.
Curtis will want a DNA test to find out for certain for clarity but Trina will refuse and punish him for what her mother did 20 years ago. She will remain stubborn in saying that she already has a dad and Marcus Taggert (Real' Andrews) will always be her father. Trina's refusal to face the truth may actually be out of her hands because if Celebrating the Soaps is correct the results are already in. The spoiler revealed weeks ago that Trina was going to reactivate her ancestry search account and that she and Stella would both receive a notification that they had a relative in Port Charles.
The results might already be available
General Hospital viewers were assuming this would happen in time to stop the wedding but Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) and Curtis got married anyway. Nothing has happened at this point to indicate that Trina has already reactivated her account and for now, she will remain stubborn. In time perhaps Spencer or Stella might talk her into needing to know the truth and this may be when she goes through with the DNA search.
Taggert might even be the one to tell her that she needs to know for certain even though he will always be her father but for now Trina will defy Curtis and leave him frustrated because she is in pain. Stay tuned to see how this plays out. Trina already knows she has a DNA match in Port Charles so eventually, she will have to deal with it.
