The demise of Nikolas Cassadine is infuriating General Hospital viewers

Is this the end for Nikolas?

The days of Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) are quickly coming to a close on General Hospital and the cryptic music on Friday suggests the end is near. The episode ended with Ava Cassadine opening the door of Wyndamere to find a deranged-looking Nik glaring at her. Marcus Coloma began portraying the Casadine Prince in October 2019 and has shared that he knew his 3-year contract was coming to an end. The writers have obviously been planning to destroy the character from the moment they had him sleep with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Fans are saying on social media that they dislike the way the writers have taken the character so low he cannot return.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) had her spouse record a fake confession saying he pushed Esme off the parapet and now in hindsight and gave it to her stepson as an acct of revenge, General Hospital viewers can see the long game for the demise of Prince Nikolas. He was denigrated and destroyed just like Julian Jerome (William deVry) until nothing has been left worth saving. Ava's brother and now her spouse has been dismantled and fans wonder why the writers went in such drastic directions. After finding out his son's girlfriend was pregnant with his child he locked her in the tower at Wyndemere and had Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) assist him.

Everything is coming to a head in Port Charles

Liz confessed her deeds to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) on Friday as Spencer Cassadine ( Nicholas Chaves) quoted from the tape Ava had shown him. Laura Collins was distraught over her son and grandson going at each other especially when Nikolas said Spencer was now fully a Casadine. It was as if the mantle had fully gone from father to son. Nik later hugged Laura with tears in his eyes as he told her she was the best mother he could have asked for. Madame mayor was crying as if she could feel this might be the last time she would see her son.

Will Nikolas attempt to or actually murder Ava on Monday and be sent to Pentonville for the crime or will she kill him in self-defense? Will someone else show up at Wyndemere and save Ava's honor? Down the road, Esme will regain her memory and Spencer will be shocked to find out that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) was correct. The tape was a fake and Ava was the reason Esme went over the parapet. If Nikola does meet his demise the saga of Esme and Ava will go on for a while so stay tuned to see how it all plays out on General Hospital.

Just like the extra food stamp distribution during the COVID crisis Government-sponsored health care is no longer being provided as a courtesy. This will be a daunting task to begin checking eligibility and some people may show up at a hospital or doctor's office only to find they are no longer covered.

Virginia Apples are a hidden treasure right in our own backyards

When I was attending Lord Betetourt High School in Daleville, some children got on our bus just as we passed the entrance to Ikenberry Orchards. We were told their families came to the area to pick apples and then returned to Florida. Move Over law expansion will save lives in Virginia

A new law should decrease roadside accidents and deaths. One of the saddest things to hear about is someone who survived an accident or stopped to assist a motorist in destress and was hit and or killed while they were standing on the side of the road. In Virginia, AAA says 28 people have died on roadsides when they were hit while outside of a disabled vehicle because someone did not slow down and move over. It's not always possible to get into the other lane but everyone can slow down when they see other vehicles on the side of the road.

FloydFest is a 5-day celebration of music & art that began in 2002 and has taken place in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains Floyd in Southwest Virginia for 20 years. Virginia black walnuts have a rich history

I was a little girl during the 1960s my grandmother would take the neighborhood children to collect walnuts from trees in a specific location in Blue Ridge Virginia. Black walnut trees were located in a wooded area less than a mile from route 460 East, near the end of Blue Ridge Springs Road close to the railroad, the sulfur spring, and the mountain. We filled up several bags from the nuts that and fallen to the ground and when we got home the fun began. We would remove the green casing to get the walnut shell and our hands would be darkened from touching those that were not fully ripe.

Why does the sun appear to dance on Easter morning?. It is customary for local churches in Roanoke and Botetourt County as well as those around the world to hold Easter Sunrise services to acknowledge the women the Bible says found Christ's tomb empty at sunrise. The tradition is for various churches to come together under one roof and prior to COVID, the host church would have breakfast. When I was a child local churches gathered in Glade Creek Baptist Church Cemetary and went back to the host church that year for breakfast but I never heard anything about the Easter morning sun dancing until about 5 years ago.

There have been several missing teens in the Roanoke Valley and the surrounding area since January, First, there was autistic teen Elijah Campbell who was later found safe, and next Allaynah Myers. who went missing in 2019 but was later found safe. The Wild Bull Elk once roamed the hillsides in Virginia. Deer, Elk, Moose, Antelope', and Reindeer all come from the Cervidae family so the next time you hear the song Home on the Range consider that there was more than one type of this breed playing along with the buffalo. Beitzah a roasted hard boiled egg is an important part of the Passover meal

There are two traditions that take place during the Spring and sometimes they overlap. Ressurection Sunday observes the day believers in Jesus say He rose from the dead. There are ways to keep sweat bees at bay this spring and summer

There are 13 types of insects from the bee family in Virginia-most notably bumble bees, honey bees, and carpenter bees. There is also the sweat bee which was quite a nuisance when I was a young girl.
