Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new docuseries does not yet reveal any royal bombshells

Docuseries is overpowered by background music

The first 3 episodes of the Netflix Docuseries featuring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was dropped on Thursday. News outlets reveal that Prince Harry accuses the royal family of "unconscious bias" because they were not sensitive to the struggles that he and Meghan Marke were dealing with in the UK. The couple left because Harry feared for their safety after getting racist threats.

The Duke and Duchess share some of their personal images of Harry with Archie in part one of the docuseries and there are pictures of Harry as a young boy with his mom Princes Diana but the quality of the docuseries is not the best from Netflix. It's a bit difficult to follow and understand those who are speaking because of the very loud background music.

Very few new revelations have come forth

In part two Doria Ragland is interviewed and shares that she was told to keep the relationship between her daughter and Prince Harry a secret in the beginning. Ragland also says that after the news broke she could not even go outside to walk her dogs because of the paparazzi. Numerous friends of Meghan's were interviewed and said they were floored when they found out she was dating Harry but no bombshell revelations have come forth at this point.

In part three Meghan and Harry reveal how the paparazzi chased them at all times and often wrote falsehoods when they would not give interviews. The days leading up to their wedding were chronicled but no bombshells were revealed about the Royal Family at least not yet.

Gregory Allen Howard whomade history when he wrote the screenplay for the film Remember the Titans has died. ABC News is reporting that Howard died Friday of heart failure at a Miami hospital according to publicist Jeff Sanderson. The movie was about Virginia's TC Williams High School which was later renamed Alexandria City High School. Howard had presented his story all around Hollywood and was continuously turned down so he decided to do it himself. Tinsel Town's loss was Howard's gain.

Confederate General AP Hill did not own slaves and was against the institution of American Slavery

There has been a long-held belief by many that everyone fighting in the Confederate Army desired to maintain the institution of slavery in the United States. Some Americans do not believe that anyone in the south joined the army for States's Rights only but it is true. It was recently announced that the remains of Confederate General AP Hill were removed from underneath a monument on a highway and were returned to his hometown of Culpepper Virginia. Although he was an officer in the war he did not own slaves and was against the institution of American Slavery.

Last week on The Bold and the Beautiful Thomas Forrester Matthew Atkinson) got his hopes up that he would be rehired at Forrester Creations and save the day. Reviews of the fashions from ended and Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Zende Forrester Dominguez ( Delon de Metz) were disastrous and Hope Spencer (Anneka Noelle) was considering bringing Thomas back as the lead designer but Steffy Forrester (Jackie Wood) talked her out of it.

Y&R fans don't like the direction Peter Bergman's character has taken. Across social media loyal fans of The Young and the Restless are making their voices heard when it comes to a specific couple. With a resounding "No" fans of various ages do not desire to see love scenes with Jack Abbott (Peter Bregman)and Diane Jenkins (Cynthis Walters). Why is General Hospital destroying fan favorite couples ?

General Hospital has already torn apart several couples that were fan favorites and now they are poised to do the same to one more. At the end of 2021, Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) was fired and that was the end of Jason and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) who viewers were falling in love with. Britt never recovered from her loss and now she is dead. There are GH fans who had hoped Jason was alive and might return to reunite with Britt.

Where does Cameron go from here on General Hospital?

On General Hospital Cameron Webber (Will Lipton) has been stuck working at Kelly's and missed the signs that he was losing Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). The situation brings to mind the Temptations song: "I'm Losing You." Outside of work and his friendship with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chaves) Cam really does not have a social life and there are no available females in Port Charles at this time. Cam and Josslyn's first time was supposed to be romantic but thanks to Esme Prince (Avery Kristan Pohl) it turned into a nightmare from which they never recovered.

Burnout and workforce retention will affect the ability of consumers to obtain prescriptions

Walgreens and CVS are making changes that will affect customers. Last summer I went to a local CVS at 1:10 PM and was stunned to see a note stating the pharmacy was closed for lunch. I had been utilizing this drugstore since the 1970s when it was Super X and later Revco. The hours had always been 8 AM-9 PM for the store as well as the pharmacy with no lunch breaks. The events of the last two years have taken a toll and the hours began fluctuating where the pharmacy opened at 9 or 10 AM. Several times I went to pick up prescriptions for a family member when the pharmacy was staffed only to be told there would be a delay because there was no pharmacist in the building.

Midnight Train to Georgia has been around for 5 decades. Gladys Knight and the Pips had their greatest hit in 1973 with Midnight Train to Georgia which was released in August and was number one in October. The song was literally being played everywhere. that summer and I recall getting in the car with my mom many times and it was playing on the radio. I listened intently each week to Casey Kasem's top 40 as the record climbed the chart and it seemed that Gladys and her Pips were on every television show possible at the time.

Virginia Emergency SNAP benefit recipients will soon need to find other options for food

Virginia is one of a few states that have not yet stopped providing the extra Emergency SNAP Benefits. The stipend is expected to end in March and residents who depended on it will have to find other ways of supplementing their food. Virginians who were getting the extra funds each month will feel the loss of whatever the amount was. If someone had been getting say an extra $100.00 monthly they must now adjust their income and pay for the same amount of groceries out of their budgets, cut back on eating or find other methods of supplementation.

Local mail delivery like the old gray mare "ain't what she used to be"

"Through rain, snow, sleet, or hail, nothing stops the US mail" This was the version of the jingle I heard while growing up in Southwest Virginia and at one point it seemed to be true. The mail used to be delivered every day except designated holidays but sadly is no longer true. I can recall as a young girl in the 1960s when snow would drift in Blue Ridge in Botetourt County and the roads would be icy but the mailman always showed up. We got our mail at the local Post Office but two of our neighbors had mailboxes on the side of the road. The mailman was Mr. Foster who owned a large farm in the area. When the roads were icy you could hear the snow chains on Mr. Foster's vehicle as he was driving down the road to deliver the mail.
