Angela Johnson wants her daughter back

In an interview with TMZ Angela Johnson, the biological mother of Chloe Chrisley says she wants full custody of her daughter now that her paternal grandparents Todd and Julie Chrisley are facing jail time. Kyle Chrisley the oldest son of the reality show couple is Chloe's biological father. Todd and Julie legally adopted the little girl when her father was battling addiction.

Johnson stated to the news outlet:"As of right now, I hadn't filed any legal papers but I am in the process of getting some legal papers filed so I can go back to court and get Chloe back home." Angela had been sharing custody with the Chrisley's but they were awarded sole custody after Johnson was arrested for filing a false Medicaid claim.

Kyle Chrisley has remained silent about his daughter's fate

Johnson also told TMZ "I've held back for so long to try to patiently do it," said Angela about fighting for custody while choking back tears. "And I don't think it's right for them to pretend that I don't exist and just say, 'Oh, we're just going to let Savannah get her.' That don't make sense."

The Chrisleys adopted their granddaughter and are Chloe's legal parents and Savannah considered her older sister rather than her aunt. It's not clear what grounds Johnson will use to attempt to regain custody of her daughter since she lost her parental rights. Angela says she has not spoken to Kyle and neither has he made any comments about his daughter's current situation. He was quoted in People as saying that no one should judge his parents. Some news outlets say the couple was once married while others say they only had a relationship that produced Chloe. Todd Chrisley is facing 12 years in jail and Julie Chrisley could serve 7.
