General Hospital turns up the heat in the midst of pressure with storylines involving Victor Cassadine

Victor's hands are in everything

For the entire year of 2022 General Hospital has faced enormous challenges with cast members being off-screen or recast for various reasons every single month, In the midst, however, they have managed to turn up the heat and keep the action going. At this present time, there are numerous storylines surrounding Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and viewers need scorecards to keep up.

Victor recently acquainted himself with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) who was revealed to have made a deal with Holly Sutton (Emma Samms). Holly gave Wu a diamond from the Ice Princess necklace in exchange for her getting Victor to drink something that would cause problems but not kill him. He is holding Holly's son Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons) hostage and Holly is now presumably going to rescue him.

Victor is keeping an eye on Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chaves) in Pentonville while moving into Wyndamere to vex Nikolas Cassadine (Marc8us Coloma). Victor is behind Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) being framed for shooting Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) who Holly says is alive and well. He was keeping Charlotte Cassadine (Raelynn Castner) at a boarding school where her father Valentin Cassadine could not visit her but now Valentin has rescued his daughter.

The drama keeps on coming

Victor knows that Nikolas slept with Esme Prince (Avery Kristan Pohl) and believes he is forcing his nephew to diorce Ava Cassadine (Maura West). He had both Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and Holly's sister Poloma (also portrayed by Samms) murdered so his hands are quite dirty. It would look like the Cassadine patriarch is on his way to being arrested or murdered but fans are loving this villain and don't really want to see him go. In spite of his devious deeds, Shaughnessy portrays the evil cad with a wicked but seductive smile.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) along with Anna, Valentin, Robert, and others believe they can stop the madness and take down this seasoned criminal who is a gentleman. On Thursday Victor figured out that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has Huntington's disease just like her father Ceasar Faison (Anders Hovis) and Liesl Obrecht began physically attacking him in an attempt to keep him quiet. General Hospital struck gold when they cast Charles Shaughnessy as Victor Cassadine and once all of the webs become untangled viewers are hoping that there is some way he will stick around Port Charles.

WDBJ 7 is reporting that two teenage girls who were last seen at Franklin County High School are missing and might be in Pulaski. The ages of the teens has not been revealed but their names are Mary Beth Trainer and Shyanne Fightmaster. Rocky Mount police say the two missing teens might be in the company of Melissa Trainer but have not indicated her age or if she is related to Mary Beth. Police are saying they consider the two as runaways.

A baby Hoot Owl (Great Horned Owl) was found at a Roanoke County Home

I've been hearing owls randomly in Roanoke City over the past decade but never see them and I don't want to. I don't like it when they turn their heads all the way around because although it is natural for this predatory nocturnal creature it seems so unnatural to me.
