Laura is returning to Port Charles but what about Martin?

In 2021 Genie Francis took several months off from General Hospital to enjoy a summer vacation with her family. Her character Laura Collins left Port Charles because someone was trying to kill her. Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) also went to the safe house with his sister but it was never mentioned as to why Knight left the ABC soap for so long.

History has repeated itself as Francis went on vacation again this year and Laura went to check on her mom Leslie Webber (Denise Alexander) whose house caught on fire. Francis is scheduled to return soon but nothing has been said about Knight whose character left Port Charles around the same time as Laura again. Fans are wondering where the actor is and when he will show up again.

Laura and Martin will return to big messes in Port Charles

Unlike Francis who gave interviews and kept her fans in the loop with her comings and goings, Grey has given no statement. If Martin returns he will find there is much trouble awaiting him just as Laura is about to do. Ava Cassadine (Maura West) was stabbed by the hook killer who is responsible for the death of Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and an attack on Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesey). Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chaves is in Pentonville, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Columba) is being blackmailed by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessey), and Esme Prince ( Avery Kristen Pohl has returned).

Should Martin come back to Port Charles he will find that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is getting in over her head with Victor Cassadine who might harm the lawyer to keep Lucy to himself. Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) who is a sibling to Martin and Laura is back on the scene and this always indicates danger is lurking. Be on the lookout for the return date of Genie Francis to General Hospital and updates related to Michael E Knight and his role as Martin.
