Friday on The Young and the Restless Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) gains some ground with his son Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). While father and son are seated at a restaurant table and talking Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) shows up.

When Tucker says he's back in Genoa City to reconnect with his son and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and to meet his grandson Dominic Abby has a meltdown. She speaks on her mother's behalf by tellingTucker that Ashley wants nothing to do with him and that she does not want him near her son. Devon takes it all in and once Abby is gone he asks his dad for a favor.

Devon may get a big letdown

Devon tells Tucker he would like it if he did not push Abby and Ashley if they did not desire to spend time with him and to not cause problems for the Abbotts. Tucker assures his son that he is not going to cause trouble for anyone and shares that after being in an accident where he almost lost his life he is looking at things differently.

McCall asks his son if he is being too pushy and Devon says no and the two men agree to meet for lunch at a later date. Spoilers tease that Tucker has some secrets and viewers know that his relationship with DianeDevon's relationship with his dad could get derailed by any number of things that may come up. Tucker could be a hero or he may let his son down so stay tuned to The Young and the Restless to find out what happens next.
