Biographer says Harry should have schooled Meghan on royal living

When it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the royal biographers are coming out of the woodwork and giving opinions on the couple. The latest is Robert Jobson author of "Prince Philip's Century."  Jobson who spoke exclusively to Page 6 believes that Harry should have better prepared Meghan for life as a royal and says the problems the couple are having are a combination of both of them being at fault.

Jobson told Page 6 that Harry is mainly at fault "for not explaining it to her properly." He says that Meghan did not completely understand what royal life would entail, which Meghan alluded to during the interview with Oprah Winfrey. The biographer said that perhaps Harry did not want to give Markle details of how hard royal life would be and added that it's not glamorous and a lot of work.

Meghan gets her share of the blame

This seems to concur with the opinion of another royal biographer Ducan Larcombe who says the Duchess of Sussex did not understand the difference between being a celebrity and a member of the royal family. Although Robert Jobson believes Prince Harry should have prepared his American wife for what was expected of her, at the end of the interview he gives Markle her share of the blame.

Jobson says Meghan should have done her homework but there is no way she could have known in advance all the nuances of marrying a prince. The author also implies Markle was jealous because Prince William and Princes Kate received a bigger house but surely she understood that William and Kate were the future King and Queen and outrank Prince Harry.

All of this is speculation and no one really knows what went on except those involved. Even so, may right wonder just how much Prince Harry did to prepare his wife for what to expect. Princess Diana also complained about how tough it was adhering to royal protocol but Kate Middleton and Queen Camilla operate as if they were born for their jobs.
