I'm a huge fan of comedy, and have been so sad that I haven't gotten to see all the great comedy in LA due to COVID-19. Now that things are opening up - I get to experience it! The Comedy Store is historic and classic for live stand-up comedy. It's been around since the 80s and has gotten huge names coming through. They have tons of comics who are up and coming, and those that have huge careers in the industry. No matter what show you're seeing, it's guaranteed to be funny.
The venue has three separate rooms doing different shows each night. They each differ in size, ticket price, and comedians. The smaller room is The Belly Room and features up and coming comics in LA. Don't be mistaken though, you'll still laugh your socks off. They do have a two-drink minimum, so keep that in mind. The Belly Room was small and cozy and no-frills. Some tips - If you're not vaccinated against COVID, you can't come. They ask for proof of vaccination at the door, and no photos are allowed inside.
