After a long SAH (Stay At Home) period, my family finally decided to take a break and went to Leavenworth, a small Bavarian town two and half hours away from Seattle. It was a beautiful day which made the drive short. When we arrived there, it was already afternoon. We were surprised to see that parking lot was full and the street was full of all kinds of people, many with their family members. There were many teenage groups running in the street perhaps cheering for their recent graduations. Adults were looking very relaxed, walking slowly to enjoy happy moments. People were smiling and some laughing loudly to celebrate the end of covid time in great Seattle area. After patiently waiting in the long lines everywhere, they started to enjoy sweet ice cream, eat tasty German sausage, and drink famous German beers. Afterall, time runs much fast in happy mode. The beautiful afternoon sunshine has put a golden shade on everybody and spread the jolly announcement around about the incoming wonderful summer after those long miserable days. The flower wagon was driving around the town to let people see various Bavarian style architectures, most of them with paintings of European style life on the walls and windows. It’s fantastic to realize the world is becoming small every day that people can enjoy different culture in such an easy way. That little young girl was climbing up into the flower horse wagon to join her family and to start a thrilling new journey.
