Cool cats in Kansas City you can adopt right now
Kansas City shelters are full to the brim right now with cute and cuddly cats just waiting to to find a new home. Here are a few to consider!. I've heard of a charlie horse before but never a charlie cat. Charlie is a sweet black cat with a white poof on his chest, currently living at Great Plains SPCA with the other shelter kitties. Although they're his friends (usually--he does get in an occasional spat), he would have no qualms in bidding them adios to live in a home like yours. That's cold, Charlie, real cold.

Hello one and all. Here are this week's cats of the week. All are readily adoptable at local Kansas City shelters. A while ago, I featured Dickenson from Parkville Animal Shelter. He's still available as are his brothers, Henry and Finn. Henry is the most outgoing and playful one of the bunch, where as Finn is the most reserved and ideally would be adopted alongside Henry. Having Henry nearby will help Finn feel more at home faster, really get him out of his shell quick. Yet Henry hangs out with Dickenson all the time, so it'd be a shame to separate those two. Choices, choices. If you really want a house full of happiness, just adopt all three.

Hello and welcome to another week full of cats! All are ready and waiting to be adopted by local Kansas Citians like you. Our first cat is Maple, who T.A.R.A. (The Animal Rescue Alliance) listed on behalf of an owner who needed to rehome her because of their newborn baby. Maple, a.k.a. "Mo," is a cuter-than-a-button 2 1/2 year old who loves cuddling (see above) and playing with jingle ball toys. Notably, she also prefers dry food over wet food any day of the week. This is a nice perk for those of us who don't love the smell of fish mush and chicken mush in a can.

Welcome to this week's cats of the week. All of these cats are waiting patiently at local Kansas City shelters to be adopted, so what are you waiting for?. First up, from Great Plains SPCA is Nala. If you regularly read these posts, you might get tired of me talking about shy cats who need some coaxing into sociality. Not this girl. She's a people person. Or a people cat anyway--she likes just about everyone she meets. She's also very bright, and, according to Great Plains SPCA, will learn tricks in no time flat. I'm not sure what kinds of tricks you'd want to teach Nala, but have at it. Card tricks might be fun, but if you try to teach her to take a rabbit out of a hat, it might not end well for the rabbit.
