The Broadmoor Holiday Show

The Broadmoor Holiday Show at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs was a holiday season highlight for our family. The family-friendly dinner show plays a variety of music and styles to entertain both kids and adults. My 5 year old son says his favorite part of the show was being on stage for a live story and a surprise visit from Santa. My 2-year-old daughter danced most of the night with other kids and I could tell she enjoyed every moment. My husband and I most enjoyed watching Marcus Lovett and his daughter perform on stage together. The dinner menu included steak and salmon for the adults and chicken and mashed potatoes for the kids. We all enjoyed the “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” holiday-themed dessert with milk chocolate mousse, vanilla crisp, and passion fruit syrup.

My passion for travel was unlocked when I spent some years living across Europe and South America. I've never been one to shy away from a new adventure, be it swimming with pigs in the Bahamas, bird watching in the Galapagos or Heli-Hiking in British Columbia. And while I used to mostly travel solo, I now like to hit the road with my 4-year-old son, 1-year-old-daughter and husband in tow. The best part of travel to me now is getting to see the world through their eyes. Whether they are petting goats during an Oregon farm stay or making their very own pizza in Idaho, their enthusiasm and joy never fails to remind me of why I love travel.
