The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) announced that, in keeping with recent trends, the number of holiday travelers will match or come close to 2019 Thanksgiving pre-Covid numbers. Nearly 5 million drivers and airline passengers are expected to use its airports, bridges, and tunnels crossings.

Port Authority estimates that, by Sunday, about 1.4 million air passengers will use PANYNJ airports.
