Verona, NJ: 3-Car Crash with Multiple Injuries and Entrapment

This afternoon at 3:25pm, the Verona Police Department responded to 911 calls reporting a crash involving three motor vehicles in their town at Bloomfield Avenue and Pompton Avenue.

Upon arrival, police determined that several car occupants were injured and one person was trapped inside of their car.

A call went out for two ambulances and the all-volunteer Verona Rescue Squad was immediately dispatched and responded to the scene for treatment of the persons’ injuries. The rescue crew worked with police to extract one person who was injured and trapped within the damaged car.

Bloomfield Avenue, west bound, was temporarily closed while the crash was investigated.
