Here's Everything you Should be Eating at The Habit Burger Grill right now!

Caroline at EatDrinkLA

Santa Barbara-born burger chain, The Habit Burger Grill has been going strong since 1969 and now has more than 350 restaurants and counting. What's their secret? It's all in the char, with burgers cooked over an open flame at 600 degrees. If it's been a while since you've visited, I'm going to get you up to speed with everything you should be eating at The Habit Burger Grill - including a limited-time offering that you don't want to miss. This list is in order, beginning with my favorite items.

*This post was made in collaboration with The Habit Burger Grill but all the tasty opinions belong to EatDrinkLA.

The Pretzel Pub Charburger

There are 11 different Charburgers on the menu right now, but this collaboration between The Habit Burger Grill and famed L.A.-based breadmaker Röckenwagner Bakery is the one that should be first on your list. The Pretzel Pub Charburger features a Chargrilled Beef Patty nestled between two Röckenwagner Knotted Pretzel Buns that take two days to perfect. Toppings include White American Cheese, Caramelized Onions, and this Brew Pub Mustard that gives it a tangy taste like no other burger. Currently, it's slated to be around until supplies last, but I have my fingers crossed, like pretzels, that it may become a menu staple.

Tempura Green Beans

Nothing goes better with a burger than fries, right? Well, then, you haven't tried these Tempura Green Beans! The outside is lightly fried, and it pairs perfectly with the crunchy, warm green bean in the middle. They are served with a side of Ranch Dressing. This side dish is fewer calories than an order of French Fries, but without sacrificing taste, so it's a win-win!

Parmesan Garlic Fries

Ok, so Fries are an awesome side, too, especially when they are sprinkled with garlic salt. The Parmesan topping is light, so even if you have picky kid eaters with you, they can eat around it. Best of all, you can order a half-and-half side of Tempura Green Beans and Parmesan Garlic Fries and make everyone happy.

Sea Salt Caramel Shake

The Sea Salt Caramel Shake is one of 7 shakes available and feels like the most sophisticated choice. Handcrafted and made to order, it's just the right amount of richness and completes your meal combo. I recommend always saying yes to Whipped Cream.

Santa Barbara Cobb Salad

The Santa Barbara Cobb Salad is a menu staple and is one of 6 fresh and healthy choices. It features two different Lettuces, along with Diced Tomato, Bacon, Blue Cheese Crumbles, Egg, and of course, all that yummy Avocado. It's topped with Chargrilled Chicken Breast and finished with a Red Wine Vinaigrette. If you're looking to fill up while still feeling light and fluffy when you're walking out the door, then go with this dish.

Kids Crispy Chicken Bites

Yes, I'm singing the praises of the Kids' Meal! As a parent, nothing feels better when you can't make your child something at home than to cut through a Chicken Bite and actually see white breast chicken. The meal comes with your child's Choice of Drink, Apple Sauce or French Fries, and these adorable little Gummy Burgers.

Impossible Charburger

The Habit Burger Grill has got nothing, if not options. If you're not a fan of red meat, you can enjoy your Charburger with Portabello Mushrooms or even Impossible meat. The Impossible Charburger features a plant-based Impossible Patty and is topped with Caramelized Onions, Lettuce, Tomato, and Mayo. It's impossible to pass up.
