"Galentine's Day" was first introduced to us in 2010 on an episode of the television series Parks and Recreation. Since then, it has become so deeply embedded in our culture that I bet most of you didn't even know that's where it originated!

Well, there has never been a better time than now to focus on the love for ladies in your life. Although, really, it's a day about celebrating those you can always count on, no matter the gender.

Grab all your best gals or pals and celebrate with a Galentine's Day Brunch at Tesse. Menu highlights include French Toast and Red Velvet Pancakes for the table, as well as entree choices like Avocado Toast or Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. What's the star of this $45 brunch? A flight of four Rosé Wines!

Home Ec-an Etiquette Series Galentine's Day (Burbank)

Channel your inner Emily Post with the first of this monthly series, hosted by Ashley Murphy Design, all about the forgotten social graces of a bygone era. February's event is a Galentine's Day-themed Home Ec-an Etiquette Class covering topics like table setting, hostess hacks, thank you notes, and more. There will also be a pop-up shop to pick up your dinner party must-haves. Tickets are $50 and include cocktails and a gift to take home. It takes place Monday, February 13th, from 5 to 9 p.m. Reserve here.

Esters Wine Shop & Bar (Santa Monica)

Start Galentine's Day early with a friendship celebrating day on Saturday, February 11th.

Festivities begin with a Galentine's Day Flower Workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. with Krystal Chang. Tickets are $175 per person and include supplies (like Sparkling Rosé and Truffles). Get the tickets through Krystal’s website with a 10% early bird discount available until February 4th.

Next, get ready for a Rosé Tasting from 3 to 6 p.m. paired with chocolate truffle. The cost is $25 per person. 

Both events are separate so feel free to enjoy one or both.
