Pride Month (All June Long)

Love is love all month long, but these are the events you just don't want to miss:

  • WeHo Pride Weekend is June 3rd and 4th in the West Hollywood Park area.
  • Drag Me to the Loews in Santa Monica. A night of drag and drinks from 7 to 11 p.m. on June 4th. Tickets on Resy.
  • L.A. Pride in the park in DTLA on June 11th with Christina Aguillera from 1 to 11 p.m. Tickets are required and selling fast!
  • Pride Pool Party at The Godfrey Hollywood on June 12th (Details under Pool Parties below)

Concerts at The Hollywood Bowl (All June Long)

Opening night at The Hollywood Bowl is June 3rd, with performances from Gwen Stefani, Gustavo Dudamel, and more! Other June highlights include the Back Street Boys on June 7th and the Jazz Festival on June 26th. Get more information here.

World Cider Day (June 3rd)

Celebrate World Cider Day with Benny Boy Brewing and Milkfarm Artisan Cheese Shop for a cheese and cider pairing event at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 3rd. Tickets are $32 a person and can be purchased here.

LA Wine Fest (June 4th and 5th)

Grab your cup to booze it up at the LAWineFest in Long Beach on June 4th and 5th. There are two days of unlimited wine tastings, craft beer pours, food tastings, and more! General admission begins at $80.

Free Concerts on the Plaza (Thursdays in June)

Summer is in full swing at The Original Farmers Market in mid-city with Summer Sounds on the Plaza. It takes place Thursdays until August 25th, when you can enjoy music from 6 to 8 p.m. Best of all, it's FREE!

Free Dance Parties (Fridays in June)

The Music Center’s Dance DTLA is back with its free dance parties every Friday night from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Jerry Moss Plaza. It kicks off June 3rd with Motown, and it's great for all ages. Get more information on all the events here.

National Doughnut Day (June 3rd)

Stay tuned for the National Doughnut Day post, which will highlight all the freebies available to you. The usual suspects include Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts.

Sunday Pool Parties (Every Sunday in June)

The Godfrey Hotel Hollywood will be hosting Summer Pool Parties every Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. on the largest rooftop in Hollywood for just $10 a person at the door! Expect live DJs, Taco Carts, and more! Leave the kids at home for this one as it's 21 and over.

Half-Price Cocktails (June 9th)

Cocktail bars The Friend (Silverlake) and The Little Friend (Venice) will be celebrating their new Summer Cocktail Menu with ½ PRICE COCKTAILS from 9-10 p.m. on Thursday, June 9th. Thirsty Thursday, anyone?

Spicy Green Book Food Market (June 11th)

On June 11th, your place to be is Manhattan Beach for the Spicy Green Book Food Market. It features over 25 all-black vendors and takes place from Noon to 7 p.m. Entry is FREE, but you need to reserve a spot here. Follow their Instagram to see all the up-to-date vendors you can expect.

Whisky Tasting (June 16th)

The Tam O’Shanter in Atwater Village is turning 100 this year, and they are celebrating their centennial with monthly Whisky Tastings featuring rare, independent brewers. The tasting costs $100 per person and offers four pours, choice snacks, and an in-depth history of the spirit—Call 323-664-0228 to save your spot.

Eat See Hear (June 19th and June 24th)

Enjoy a mix of film, music, and food celebrating Juneteenth and Pride Month with the movies 42 and The Birdcage respectively. Ticket prices begin at $14, and doors open at 6 p.m. for food trucks and live music. Event locations include the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza for 42 and the Autry Museum of the American West.

Pickle Palooza (June 18th)

If you like pickles, then this is the event for you! The Original Farmers Market, together with Kaylin + Kaylin (Scott Kaylin is "the pickle man"), is presenting the First Annual Pickle Palooza pickle eating contest! Guests can enjoy pickle-themed photo-ops and freebies as well as a competition to see who can eat the most.

The event takes place on June 18th from 1 to 3 p.m.

Father's Day (June 19th)
