Mardi Gras, or Fat Tuesday, takes place on March 1st this year, along with National Pancake Day. Here's where to go for Mardi Gras in L.A. for 2022 - and I'm not talking about Louisiana :)

The Original Farmers Market (West 3rd)

The Original Farmers Market is back with their 32nd annual Mardi Gras! Events include live music from groups like the Zydeco Mudbugs and Kenny Sara &The Sounds of New Orleans. You'll also find crafts for kids like crown and shaker making. Lastly, the food feasting will include special dishes from The Gumbo Pot like a Beignet Tent on the patio, as well as Louisiana Beer favorites at EB’s Beer and Wine.

Where and When: The free event takes place Saturday, February 26th, Sunday, February 27th, and then again on Tuesday, March 1st. Check The Original Farmers Market website before you go, as some event is time-specific. The address is 6333 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90036.

Harold and Belle's (Jefferson Park)

Harold and Belle’s returns after a year's hiatus to reclaim their reign as one of the top spots to go for Mardi Gras in L.A. You can expect live music from stunners like the Grammy Award Winning Andrew Gouché, face painting and beads, and of course some spectacular food. Must-haves include Red Beans and Rice (Vegan also available) and Louisiana-style Catfish Nuggets. Lastly, sip on some Crowns and Hops local beer or a signature Hurricane.

Where and When: Get all the details on their Instagram. The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. at 2920 W. Jefferson Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90018. The cover charge is $20 after 2 p.m. and includes an adult beverage.

Angel City Market (Inglewood)

Enjoy a day of shopping, games, and fun for the whole family when you attend the Angel City Market Mardi Gras celebration. There will be $5 Happy Hour Specialty Drinks, Free Beads, and Giveaways.

Where and When: The event takes place Sunday, February 27th, and is FREE if you book through Eventbrite. The address is 10903 S Inglewood Avenue and it runs from Noon to 6 p.m.
