Salads are always great food 🥗 🥙 🥗 . You can have them anytime. So, try bringing variety in them by adding more ingredients or trying out the new ones. I incorporate salads in my diet, mostly at lunchtime.
Here is the recipe for the SHRIMP SALAD that I tried recently. This is a great alternative to lunch.
First of all, in a pan, add oil, and cook 👩🍳 the shrimp simply in salt 🧂 & black pepper.
Cut the avocados 🥑 , onions 🧅 , tomatoes, cucumbers 🥒 , iceberg, & olives 🫒 into your desired shape. Cubes are preferred.
Now, for dressing, mix olive oil, lemon 🍋 juice, vinegar, salt & pepper. Shake them very well.
Mix the shrimp 🦐 🍤 with the vegetables and also add corn to them.
Now, pour in the dressing & toss it very well until everything is mixed up thoroughly.
You can also add yogurt or mayonnaise to it. I sometimes add dairy-free cream. It gives an amazing taste, but if you want it light, just go with the recipe provided.
