Shop Local: Sip and Stroll at 22nd Street Coffee in Tampa on March 19th

Rise and grind! 22nd Street Coffee, located just outside of Ybor City up the street from IKEA Tampa at 208 North 22nd Street, is hosting a “Sip and Stroll” market on Friday, March 19th, 2021 from 9AM to 1PM. The event will bring out local vendors to the cafe for a fun and socially-distanced event.

Guests are invited to come by the cafe and grab a coffee that is locally roasted, support local businesses, and enjoy what Tampa has to offer to kick off the weekend. The event is being organized by local entrepreneur Michele Northup who owns Intensity Academy Gourmet Sauces.

“I’m thrilled to bring our market vendors to 22nd Street Coffee! This iconic shop is the perfect venue to support local & the community!”, says Northup. Northup throws a number of events around Tampa regularly which can be found on her Facebook group “Intensity Academy Hot Sauce”. One signature event she is involved in is the annual Pinellas Pepper Fest which is now planned for April 2021.

Intensity Academy is an all-natural gourmet hot sauce company winning more than 55 national awards. Northup was named Tampa Bay Business Woman of the Year in Manufacturing and Business Leader's Woman Extraordinaire and is an active member of the community.

22nd Street Coffee serves gourmet coffee with a local influence. The Reddick family has been making coffee and distributing for decades and opened 22nd Street in 2019. A number of Cuban-inspired coffees (cortados, cafe con leche, colada), sandwiches, and snacks are available for purchase and there is also a selection of retail coffee and merchandise available at the cafe. Coffees are served from regions around the world and there are specialty options such as cold brew and nitro brew coffee.

The cafe is open from Monday to Friday from 7AM to 2PM and Saturdays from 8AM to 2PM. Those interested in their coffee can also purchase online at 22ndStreetCoffee.com with shipping included in orders.

Organizers ask that guests please wear a mask and observe social distancing while shopping and have a great time. There is both inside and outside seating and parking available on-site.
