The NPCF is based in Tampa and has received a perfect 100% score for financial health and transparency and is the top-rated childhood cancer charity in the United States by Charity Navigator, an independent charity assessment organization that evaluates hundreds of thousands of charitable organizations based in the United States.

Every day 43 kids in the United States are expected to be diagnosed with cancer. Cancer is the number one cause of death by disease among children. In addition, more than 95% of childhood cancer survivors have significant health-related issues because of the current treatment options and only 4% of the billions of dollars the government spends annually on cancer research is directed towards treating childhood cancer, according to the NPCF.
