After sparking a debate about Atlanta's city limits and residency, Omeretta The Great's song, Sorry Not Sorry, continues to polarize the Internet including Atlanta-based celebrities. The Atlanta native dropped an official remix to the track featuring another well-known Gen Z rapper.

Since its February 18 release on YouTube, Sorry Not Sorry has lit a fuse on the topic of the requirements for Atlanta citizenship.

Omeretta's strict criteria for being granted ATLien status has already garnered the music video 874,000 views on YouTube.

Now rappers, T.I. and Latto, have entered the Group Chat and added their two cents to the debate.

T.I., a born and raised Georgian, shared a map of the surrounding counties that are included in metropolitan Atlanta as a rebuttal to Omeretta's hot take. In a since now deleted Instagram post, T.I. wrote, "Respectfully...Only fools dispute facts. #ToWhomItMayConcern"

Latto, on the other hand, agreed with the Gen Z rapper, saying, "It's not a big deal lol. Clay [County] is the south we not the city she said the truth tbh," in a TikTok video (shared via The Shade Room).

UPDATE: As a head nod to her support, Omeretta The Great tapped Latto for the official remix to her song that dropped March 3rd on YouTube.

Latto cleared the air about her residency in Georgia and name drops a few famous rappers who according to Sorry Not Sorry aren't considered true ATLiens--and ponders why.

“So Migos is not Atlanta? 21 is not Atlanta? Ciara is not Atlanta? Ludacris is not Atlanta? Man, Clayco made Atlanta. Decatur made Atlanta. Rap game tried to play Atlanta, Outkast came and saved Atlanta.”

Latto further clarified her statements via her Twitter account.

According to Omeretta The Great, the criteria is pretty simple: you must be born and raised in Atlanta--and if you're from a neighboring city in Georgia it doesn't count.

"College Park is not Atlanta / Lithonia is not Atlanta / Clayco is not Atlanta / Decatur is not Atlanta / Gwinnett is not Atlanta / Roswell is not Atlanta / Forest park is not Atlanta / Lilburn is not Atlanta," Omeretta The Great raps.

According to the City of Atlanta, it has a 500,000 residents. However, the surrounding Metro Atlanta area has 29 counties with a combined population 6 million people, according to the United States Office of Management and Budget. In fact, it's the 9th largest metropolitan in the U.S. The Atlanta Regional Commission is made up of 11 counties that includes Fulton County (which houses Atlanta).

Obviously, her sentiments left Twitter in shambles, spawning a conversation that's been going on for the past 8 days.
