- Hunter Biden lived at this Delaware address for two years post his 2017 divorce.
James Comer, the chair of the House Oversight and Accountability committee, has made a significant claim regarding Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden. According to Comer, bank records obtained through a subpoena reveal that Hunter Biden listed his father's Delaware home as the beneficiary address for two wire transfers he received from China in 2019. These transfers amounted to $250,000.
The Delaware home, located at '1209 Barley Mill Rd', is where Hunter is believed to have resided for two years after his divorce from Kathleen Buhle in 2017. The first wire transfer of $100,000 came from Ms. Wang Xin, associated with Beijing equity firm BHR Partners. The second transfer was allegedly from Jonathan Li, a Chinese national.
In response to these claims, the White House has dismissed them as a distraction tactic. Ian Sams, a spokesman for President Biden, criticized the focus on these allegations, suggesting that there are more pressing issues at hand, such as the potential government shutdown.
