Beach visiting is such an important part of my lifestyle now. I love the morning jog or the evening walk session at the beach because of two reasons: I love to do sunbathing during the sunrise and sunset times, and I love to get a good dose of exercise along the beach shores. Apart from this, I also do sungazing. It is an ancient ayurvedic practice that I learned from my grandparents. Sungazing is to stare at the sun (sun timings should be within 1 hour after sunrise and within 1 hour before sunset), to gain maximum benefit from the sun. The rays are powerful and can help our eyes plus a host of benefits. Try this yourself but make sure you stick to the timings of sun gaze perfectly. Else it will be damaging for your eyes. Sunbathing helps me to detoxify, gives me the vitamin D that I need and builds my immunity. You should visit the beach often too if you live close by. My favorite spot for sunset is the Long Beach and Venice beach and for a sunrise I go to Palos Verdes.
