Video review of my experience at ViVi Pho in Centennial, Colorado. I will start by saying, as a pho lover, I always think it's clutch but I am on a constant quest to find the best pho ever. I will travel the world in search of this. ViVi Pho is close to home and I was so excited when I found it because I have never heard of it. I loved the decor, it was very cute and ornamental compared to other pho places I've been to -- and I have been to a lot. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee. The eggrolls and wings appetizers were OK. My pho noodles were cooked just right but was hoping for more depth for the broth.

I finally got to try the legendary Spring Fling cake from Eternal Flavors Bakery in Denver. I was beginning to think this cake was an urban legend. I have been hearing about it for years described as, “the best cake EVER”. The first place to create this cake was at the Market in Larimer Square. After 42 years of business, they closed. Melchor Ocampo who was the head baker at the Market went on to open Eternal Flavors Bakery in May of last year. The Spring Fling is only made once a year, making this cake even more elusive. I was finally able to taste it in all of its glory. It is made with zucchini bread, a decadent, sweet cream cheese, and as you can see fresh fruit. The Spring Fling definitely ranks in my top 3 favorite cakes of all time.

Brunching vibes at STK Denver… Loved the aesthetic & pretty decor, delicious brunch items, and fantastic service.

We started out with their complimentary bread service which was fresh out of the oven and brushed with brown butter & cinnamon sugar. Warm, fluffy, delicious.

We got to try several of their signature cocktails. The Spiced Watermelon and the Cucumber Stiletto were my favorites.

For starters, we had the Lil’ Brgs - wagyu beef, special sauce, mini sesame seed buns and the Blue Iceberg - Nueske’s Applewood smoked bacon, point reyes blue, cherry tomato - yummy.

For entrees, I had the Lobster & Eggs Benedict and my boyfirend had the Truffle Steak & Egg. Both were absolutely fantastic.

For dessert, we had the warm chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream & caramel sauce and the cheesecake with raspberry coulis & berries was absolutely stunning.

When the founders of Layla’s Delicacies immigrated to the U.S., they had a hard time finding authentic Tunisian pastries like Kaak Warka & Tunisian Baklava. They began making their own to satisfy their cravings and sharing them with friends & family. They got an overwhelming response and demand for their treats and decided to start a company named after their daughter Layla who also loves baking. 

In Chinese culture (I’m Chinese American, if you didn’t know) the fire is associated with the tongue. Naturally, it makes sense to enjoy these exceptional Tunisian pastries by my fireplace.

Come check out this new wine bar concept with me! The give you this card and you can go pick out your own wines to to try. You can even choose the size of your pour. Each time you choose a wine, it gets added it to the card and you give it to your server at the end of your meal to add to your tab. It's a fun and interactive way to try different wines. For appetizer, we got the escargot which was delicious. We also had the lobster mac. For our main course, we had the filet cooked rare topped with truffle butter. We couldn't skip dessert and chose the

One of our stops in Phoenix was Harumi Sushi and it was delicious! I really enjoyed the uni (it tasted really fresh) and the tempura udon. The rolls were also really good and we loved the apple sake.
