This Fort Smith Cafe Has a Secret Recipe For Its Success

Cameron Eittreim

As I have been getting out more and more lately, I have come to the discovery that there is such a robust culinary scene here in Fort Smith. After taking a bike ride through the Ben Geren regional park, I wanted something light to eat for lunch. Instead of going to a full-on restaurant, I decided to look up cafes in the area. I didn't want to go to one of the chain establishments, as the prices are high and the food is never that good.

When you go to a cafe, you are looking for something light to eat, and maybe a small coffee or drink. I came across Taste & See cafe and loved the name. I had to see what all the good reviews were talking about, so I decided to come by here. When I first walked up to the place, I was taken aback by the welcoming exterior and interior. As soon as you walk into this place, a friendly staff greets you. Right then I knew I was in for something good.

The interior dining room is clean and well organized. There are plenty of tables for groups or just yourself. The menu is diverse, which is something that I noticed right away, because most cafes have a fairly limited menu, but that isn't the case here. There are many items to choose from, from sandwiches to salads.

The food is well prepared and extremely fresh, but what got me was the flavor. All of the flavors were so strong and I kept coming back for more. The service was quite fast as well, and if you are in a hurry during lunch time you won't have to wait long here. All the ingredients are incredibly fresh too, so you won't leave here with that awkward feeling in your stomach.

The bacon cheeseburger wrap was one of the most unique menu items that I have ever come across. I mean come on? You get the flavor of a cheeseburger in the healthy exterior of a wrap? Now that is unique, and the seasoned beef was so delicious. There was so much flavor oozing from the wrap, and you could smell the wonderful scent as well.

There are other items on the menu that are worth noting, such as the black bean burger and the one of a kind breakfast burritos. All-in-all, there are many great places to eat in Fort Smith, but if you love the cafe setting, then I recommend stopping here. The flavor is almost non-stop delicious, and the food will keep you coming back for more.
