Who Has The Tastiest Pizza In Brooklyn, New York?

Cameron Eittreim

Brooklyn, New York is one of the most culturally diverse places around. The food is one of the things that make this area so special, and there is nothing like eating in Brooklyn. Of course, you can't take a trip to Brooklyn without visiting an authentic pizza parlor. The interesting thing about the Brooklyn Pizza scene is that it has been featured in countless movies and television shows.

You know when you come here that you are in for something special. But there are certain places worth visiting more than the others. I decided on two places that caught my attention when I first came to this borough of New York. If you visit Brooklyn, these are two of the most delicious pizza places I have ever visited. You'll experience the authentic flavor of Brooklyn and the unique scenery that the area offers.

Giuseppina's

691 6th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215

Take one look at the name of this place, and you know it's going to be authentic. The restaurant is cozy and built around an authentic brick oven. If you know anything about pizza, then you know that baking in a brick oven is essential for that authentic taste. The menu at Giuseppina's has all the favorites you'd expect from a New York style pizza.

There is also a selection of other noteworthy items here that are worth considering. You can choose from calzones, wings and even pasta. All the food here is crafted from authentic recipes, and you can taste the one of a kind ingredients. The staff here are super friendly and work to make you feel like part of the family as soon as you walk through the door. If you're ever in Brooklyn and want to experience some one of a kind cuisine, this is the place to do it.

Joe's Pizza

216 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249

Joe's Pizza is a long time staple in Brooklyn that serves hot fresh pizza right over the counter. This pizza parlor has been referenced in dozens of movies, so there is no doubt that you've seen Joe's a time or two. The menu is fairly basic, but the food is iconic. Let's be obvious, you are coming here for the slices of pizza anyway. The slices are thin crust and huge, and the ingredients are fresh. This isn't that average pizza that you'd find at a chain restaurant.

Dining outdoors here on a summer night is a divine experience, and the culture that Brooklyn has to offer only adds to the ambiance. The pepperoni mushroom is fresh and hot to order, and the crust has a supremely authentic flavor to it. The fact that the pizza is baked in a brick oven also adds to the exceptional New York flavor that it has to offer. If you are in Brooklyn visiting, you have to stop by this iconic pizza joint.
