Who Has The Tastiest Breakfast In Tucson, Arizona?

Cameron Eittreim

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If you can't get breakfast at home, then you will naturally seek out a restaurant. Tucson has many travelers that visit the city every year, and thus there are some great breakfast spots. Sometimes a simple breakfast with a few eggs and some toast is better than a complicated omelet, but there are also times when a complicated omelet will soothe the soul.

When I hit town, I generally try to rent a hotel room that serves a continental breakfast, but with all recent restrictions, this isn't always the case. So naturally we have to seek out a place that serves breakfast, and I like to stray away from the big chain restaurants. Upon my last visit to Tucson, we found a few delicious spots worth mentioning.

Bobo's Restaurant

2938 E Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ 85716

Bobo's Restaurant is serving up wholesome comfort food all day and most importantly breakfast. The menu has all the standard fare that you'd expect, eggs benedict, chicken fried steaks, and of course a classic stack of pancakes. I had two poached eggs and a stack of pancakes, and everything was cooked to perfection.

The pancakes were incredibly fluffy and fresh tasting, which is important because an overcooked pancake is just horrible. I had a coffee with my meal but there were quite a few options to choose from in that department as well. I also noticed there was a pretty in-depth dinner menu, so it might be worth exploring that.

Breakfast Stop Family Restaurant

6135 E 22nd St, Tucson, AZ 85711

If you've got a hankering for breakfast food, then there is one place that serves nothing but breakfast, and that's the Breakfast Stop Family Restaurant. Of all the hidden gems that you'll find in the Tucson culinary scene this place is one of them. The breakfast food is being served hot and fresh every morning, and the staff here are passionate about what they do.

The menu here is diverse, with all the standard breakfast favorites that you'd look for, and there are some unique options. You can get Menudo here, as well as chorizo and eggs, both of which you won't find at a mainstream breakfast chain. There aren't many places that specialize in delicious breakfast items like this place, and if you are in Tucson I recommend checking it out.
