Who Has The Tastiest Ribs In Grand Junction, Colorado?

Grand Junction, Colorado is one of the most beautiful cities in the country. There is an almost never ending abundance of natural beauty that you can see for miles. Likewise, the culinary scene in the city is also unique. In the various culture points of the city are numerous excellent barbecue restaurants. The thing about Grand Junction is that the food is some of the most unique that you'll find. Combine that with the culture and the beautiful scenery, and you are in for a wonderful stay.

The area surrounding Grand Junction is one of the most beautiful natural areas in the United States. I often come here to enjoy the way the mountains look and the interesting history that originates from here. I also have family in the area, so when we go to Grand Junction, one of the first things we do is enjoy the food. These are a few of my favorite rib places in Grand Junction, and I highly recommend going to them.

Snooks Bottom Barbecue

555 1/2 US-50, Grand Junction, CO 81503

I'll admit, the main reason I went to this rib joint first was because of the name. Snooks Bottom Barbecue sounds like it tastes good, and it does. The menu is well laid out and has all the well known barbecue stables that you'd expect. The pork ribs were extremely succulent with lots of flavor, the meat literally fell off the bone.

The in-house sauce is tangy and spicy simultaneously, which is a combination that I wholeheartedly approve of. The side-dishes are made fresh to order and my entire plate was piping hot. A lot of time you get warm food that isn't exactly hot like it was just made. When you sit down here, you are going to get a hot plate of ribs that will definitely have you coming back for more.

Handlebar Tap House

Another well known spot I had to try was the Handlebar Tap House. I heard great things about this place from the locals so I decided to come and try it. The menu is fairly simple, and the place is what you'd expect from a small barbecue joint. The menu has many cuts of meat, but I came here for the ribs, and this time I had baby back ribs.

The meat was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was spicy, which I'm not going to argue with. The side dish I had was baked mac and cheese, and you could tell it was made fresh. They used a very high quality cheese here and the sauce was equally as good. If you want some great quick barbecue, then I recommend this place.
