Who Has The Tastiest Seafood In Dallas, Texas?

Cameron Eittreim

Seafood is one of our lives simple pleasures, fresh and healthy for you. Finding a great seafood restaurant can be a good experience. Because good tasting seafood prepared correctly is hard to come by. The key to delicious seafood is that it must be fresh, if it's not fresh, then the flavor will suffer. In Dallas, Texas, there are many seafood restaurants to choose from.

Although you can find any type of seafood, I enjoy the chef specialties. Sautéed shrimp, tilapia, and salmon are just some of my favorites. I have visited Dallas, Texas a lot on work over the past couple of years, and I always look for new and unique restaurants. Since seafood is one of my favorite types of cuisine, I decided to hand pick a few seafood restaurants to try while I was in Dallas.

Water Grill

1920 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX 75201.

For sheer fresh seafood choices, Water Grill is perhaps the king of the crop when it comes to menu choices. The Water Grill has a wide selection of seafood dishes to choose from. This isn't a scaled down menu by any means. If you enjoy fresh oysters, there are 13 different types of oysters to choose from. There are also shrimp, crab, and other types of fresh fish to choose from.

Aside from the menu, the ambiance of the restaurant is worth visiting. The interior layout is contemporary, and the staff is knowledgeable about the menu. The food is served in a reasonable amount of time, and it is very fresh. The fish definitely comes into the restaurant weekly, as you can taste the quality of the food. There is also an extensive drink menu to choose from as well, that makes any special occasion complete.

Seafood Shack

11625 Webb Chapel Rd, Dallas, TX 75229

The Seafood Shack is a staple when it comes to fresh seafood in Dallas. There are three locations spread through the city. The menu has some unique items to choose from, my favorite of which is the braised salmon with lemon. The salmon is incredibly fresh, and the broccoli served along side it only adds to the flavor.

The side dish I chose was the mashed potatoes and the steamed broccoli. I also got the cold shrimp cocktail as the appetizer, and the presentation was wonderful. If you enjoy fresh seafood, then you can't find a better selection than what you'll find here. The food is delicious, and the selection is way above what you'd expect.
