Traditional Indian cuisine is one of the best tasting foods you'll ever eat. The depth of the flavors makes every Indian dish something unique and special. Because Orlando is home to thousands of tourists every year, there are many unique restaurant destinations to stop by and visit. You can taste every aspect of the world in a few short trips to Orlando, and that makes the city one of the most unique in the country.
I thoroughly enjoy Indian cuisine, because it can be spicy or sweet, and there is no other type of food that tastes like it. Introducing your children to new and unique flavors also makes the travel experience something a bit more special. During my last trip to Orlando, we were able to stop by quite a few unique restaurants, and when it came to Indian cuisine, there were plenty of choices.
New Punjab Indian Restaurant
7451 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819, USA
One of the oldest and most well known dining establishments in Orlando has been around since 1988. The New Punjab Indian Restaurant has a delectable menu that has been perfected for over four decades. Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by the traditional Indian decor and fare that you'd expect. The menu is made up of more than just the standard curry based menu items, and you might be surprised by the unique diversity of the menu items.
The Chaat Papri is a dish that I hold close to my heart. The flavor is amazing, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. If you are more of a chicken type, then the Chef’s Specialty is a wonderful chicken based dish that combines a wonderful array of flavors. This restaurant is geared toward families traveling with a large group. The food is served in large portions, and the experience at this restaurant is one of the best in the area.
Aashirwad Indian Food and Bar

Sometimes a big chain restaurant feels can ruin the atmosphere and quality of a restaurant, but that is not the case with Aashirwad Indian Food and Bar. This beautiful Indian restaurant has been in business for over twenty years, and it is a credit to the community. The quality of the menu is diverse, with plenty of Indian classics and some of the normal dishes you'd expect, such as curry chicken.
The prices are expensive, and you can comfortably dine with a whole family while sticking to your budget. The quality of the service makes Aashirwad Indian Food and Bar stand out from the crowd. Because the high quality dining experience stands out from the crowd, you will want to come back again.
