Cameron Eittreim

It's time to ring in the new year, and that means New Year's Eve festivities are among us. But what if you don't want to fight the crowds at a New Years Event? Well, there are quite a few unique restaurants open and ready to serve you on New Year's Eve. The beauty of San Francisco is the fact that its located right on the water. This means easy access to fresh seafood, and many restaurants take advantage of this. When I visit San Francisco, I love to enjoy the nightlife that the city offers, and it only gets better on New Year's Eve.

This restaurant has been a staple of San Francisco cuisine since 1989. In thirty years, Acquerello has grown to cultivate a wonderful reputation for fresh food and authentic Italian flavor. The quaint seating of the restaurant makes it the perfect place to ring in the new year. The selection of various wines to choose from makes a night for two quite complete. The menu has the Italian favorites, as well as a few specialty dishes that are exclusive to the chef.

New Year's Eve is a big date for Acquerello, and you can expect the restaurant will be busy. This is never a problem because the staff is professional and well trained but it always helps to make reservations ahead of time. If you want to spend somewhere special on New Year's Eve in San Francisco, then you can't go wrong with a trip to Acquerello.

If you aren't looking for a whole meal, then Anzu is a better option. This is a sushi restaurant, and all the rolls are prepared with fresh ingredients. Whether you want the standard fare of California rolls or something a bit more complicated, you'll find it here. The quality of the seafood is top notch, and if you've ever had an expensive roll, then you'll know why.

The quality of the fish is what makes the sushi great, and you will find it here. Anzu has a diverse selection to choose from, and the menu is constantly adds new items. You can also customize your own rolls to the way that you want them. Which ever option you go for the selection here at Anzu is about the best that you'll get. The food tastes great, and nothing is better than ringing in the new year with some Sushi.
