Cameron Eittreim

San Francisco is one of the most diverse places in the state to explore and travel. The cuisine scene is also diverse, with all tastes to choose from. The holidays are a time when we gather around the table as a family and enjoy great food and memories. The problem is that preparing a large meal for a family can be time consuming and tiring. Therefore, dining at a restaurant can be such an appealing option.

Christmas is a holiday where most restaurants are closed for the day, but there are still some spots that remain open no matter what the holiday is. When I am in San Francisco, I enjoy the variety of dining spots to choose from, and the sheer beauty that the city has to offer. If you've never been to San Francisco, you need to visit it. The city is one of the most beautiful places in the world. So let us dive into a few of these wonderful restaurants open on Christmas day.

Mastro’s Steakhouse

399 Geary St, San Francisco, CA 94102

Looking for a classic hunk of meat instead? Mastro's Steakhouse is a world renowned place to get a prime cut of beef and of course it's open on Christmas day. The menu is the average fair for a steakhouse but there are some exceptions. There is also a seafood menu here as San Francisco is on the water. If you don't feel like having red meat you can have some delicious fish that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The staff at Mastro's is extremely friendly and knowledgable on the menu, they understand how to get the job done and serve you right. The prices aren't bad either and there are specials if you are going to be coming with a large group. Obviously the smartest thing to do is to reserve a table ahead of time so you can skip the line on Christmas day. With the wonderful succulent flavors and diverse menu you can't go wrong with Mastro's on Christmas.
