Fayetteville, Arkansas is a college sports town and one of the most popular destinations to visit while in Arkansas. If you have the fortune to live in Fayetteville then you are in for a treat as well. There are plenty of outdoor recreational areas that you can visit, as well as the occasional restaurant. The dining choices in Fayetteville are varied, and more than just the average barhop or sushi joint. There is a wide variety to choose from, with a unique culture attached.

Obviously being in the south and a college town barbecue is a big portion of any diet. But there are also other restaurants to choose from. Fayetteville has quite the Italian cuisine scene, as well as several Greek restaurants to choose from. If you have been dreading the thought of preparing a massive Christmas dinner, then I have found a few spots open for the holiday. The main surprise here is the menu, which is diverse will all kinds of different flavors to choose from. Obviously when it comes to choosing hibachi or sushi the freshness is the most important aspect.

But so is the flavor and you want the flavor to stand out. If you aren't keen on a spicy tasting dish they have sweet and savory choices as well. All of the meals are prepared freshly and you can specifically choose certain ingredients. Of course as with any holiday there will be an assortment of alcoholic beverages to choose from.

The hours of operation on Christmas day will be 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Pavilion Buffet in Fayetteville

If you would like Chinese food and sushi for Christmas dinner instead of the norm then the Pavilion Buffet is worth visiting. The selection here is quite diverse and well laid out, the sushi is prepared fresh and the food is rotated often. If you try to avoid buffets because the food is never fresh that won't be a problem here.

Pavilion Buffet is also quite affordable, and if you have a large group there are special avaliable. The staff is very knowledgable about the menu and you can expect to have a good time. There is also a wide assortment of drinks to choose from. The restaurant is clean and there is more then enough space if you are going to be bringing a large family here.

Now this place has a unique name to it, but there is more to Juicy Tails then just a funny name. The place has the best fried seafood that you'll have. Made with a batter that will make your mouth water and prices that will make your wallet smile. Juicy Tails has a diverse menu to choose from with everything from Shrimp to lobster and even Okra.

If you enjoy fried seafood but you want that home cooked creole flavoring then look no further then this place. The staff is extremely friendly and if you have questions about the menu they are quick to point out the anwsers. You won't be longing for delicious seafood when you come here and there is a good reason for that.

Christmas day hours are from noon to 9 p.m.
