The Roseville and Rockland communities are some of the most popular in the Sacramento Valley. That also means there are many restaurants to choose from if you don't feel like cooking dinner on Christmas day. Roseville has a diverse community of restaurants that serve all kinds of different foods. If you think diner food is the only place where you can go during the holidays, you'd be greatly mistaken.
What I like most about Roseville is that there isn't ever a lot of traffic, and even on holidays, you can generally find a great place to eat. Roseville has a diverse community with many different fares, and the downtown area is family oriented. Whether you want Americana style cuisine or something out of the ordinary, like Italian food, there is sure to be a place that will fit your needs. Here are some of my favorite spots that just happen to be open on Christmas day in Roseville.
250 Harding Blvd. Roseville, CA 95678
Claim Jumper is a popular restaurant and bar with locations all around California. What makes the place great is the quality of the food and the diversity of the menu. Generally a steak house has a pretty limited appeal, but Claim Jumper offers something better than the average fare. The kids menu is perhaps the most diverse and surprising part of the experience.
There are about ten options that kids can choose from, from Pork Ribs to soups. If you are going with a large group, then this might be a welcoming surprise. For adults, there is a never-ending selection of cocktails to choose from, many of which are made with fresh fruit and lively ingredients.
The steaks and pork are cooked to perfection, and there are various sides that you can choose from here. Instead of stressing about cooking a large meal on Christmas, you can go to Claim Jumper and have a nice meal. The Christmas eve hours will be from 11-8pm, and Christmas day will be 5-9pm.
1919 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA 95678
Chevy's is sort of a California institution, the restaurant has everything you could hope for in a Tex Mex establishment. The main thing that stands out is the selection of unique dishes that are exclusive to this restaurant. Chevy's serve a type of "Tex Mex" which isn't generally served at other restaurants.
Whether you want Chile, Eschiladas or a flame-grilled burger. You will find it at Chevy's, served alongside many wonderful appetizers and such. If you feel like seafood, the Surf N Turf combo is a great choice. The menu at Chevy's is so diverse, and that's something that makes the restaurant an excellent holiday destination.
The holiday hours will be as follows: Christmas Eve 11-8 & Christmas Day 12-10.
Buca Di Beppo
1212 Galleria Boulevard, Roseville, CA 95678
When you think of tasty restaurants, you can't help but bring up Buca Di Beppo. The Italian restaurant has a diverse menu and reasonable prices for each item. The atmosphere is more casual than what you'd find at an Olive Garden restaurant. The restaurant has many unique menu items, including appetizers.
If you will be dining with a large group of people, then an Appetizer is a great first impression. The menu also has all the favorites that you've come to expect over time. Whether it be the choice of spaghetti or a fancier option, such as chicken Parmesan. The selection is endless, and the customer service is excellent.
Business hours on Christmas eve and Christmas day will be the normal hours of operation.
