Meet me in the clove. It's going down..at the Garlic Festival in Stockton. Join the flavorful fun at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds on August 5th and 6th, or the most pungent event of the season. Keep the vampires at bay with the delectable assortment of garlic infused delicacies.
Gilroy, California is the original setting for this annual event, having gained fame as the “Garlic Capital of the World", but the City of Gilroy decided to stop hosting the festival in 2021 and has been held in Stockton for the last two years.
The festivities are known for displaying a variety of garlic inspired creations, ranging from garlic brisket to garlic corn dogs, or perhaps you'd like a garlic ice cream cone to cool down, why not? There's a grip of local vendors cooking up something good and garlicky for all attendees.
As well as the food, the other attractions include monster truck rides and a classic car show. There will also be inflatable fun for the kids, as well as a mini-golf course and a splash zone. A stage will be set for the Miss Garlic Festival Scholarship Pageant, local performances, and food demonstrations.
Single Day Admission is $15 for adults ages 18-64 and $10 for children ages 6-17. There is free entry for military, seniors 65+ and children under 5.
Inflatables Fun Zone & Splash Zone Unlimited Wristbands are $25 online and will be $30 at the event. Parking is $10, cash only.
