With the ongoing War in Ukraine, many people are looking to buy a Ukraine flag. They want to fly one in front of their house or around a local flag pole in order to show their support for the European country.

In fact, competition for Ukraine flag has gotten so intense that many places are sold out. Others have extremely long leadtimes for shipping.

If you’re looking for Ukraine flags, one option is to get them at Walmart. Walmart still has several Ukraine flags in stock. The only caveat is that it will take several weeks for them to arrive. Of course, Walmart may stock more of these flags in the longer-term, resulting in faster shipping times.

If you’d like to purchase a Ukraine flag from Walmart, check out a few of these options. They are available both in larger sizes that you can fly in front of your home, and in smaller sizes that you can take to a vigil or a peace rally. Many churches are holding vigils for victims of the war Ukraine.

Making a DIY Flag

Another option is to make your own DIY Ukraine flag. The process is simple, and it’s something you can do with your kids. Here is a tutorial that I made that walks you through the whole process. It's inexpensive and something you can do with materials you have at home, or can easily buy locally.

It’s an opportunity to teach them in simple terms about what’s happening on the other side of the world, and to answer questions that I might have. Many kids will have heard about the conflict from peers or teachers, and making a flag together is a great way to demonstrate showing support.
