Fried Whole Catfish Perfect for Meatless Fridays
Fried Whole Catfish I bought my catfish from the store. They already had the heads, guts and skin removed. Now you can remove the fins, but they make for better presentation. Now get your seasoning batter. Today I'm using Bayou Marine Fish Fry. First roll the fish in the batter, then in the egg wash, then back into the batter. Make sure you get some batter inside the fish. While this is going on get your oil up to 350 degrees. Lower the fish into the oil and let it cook for around 8 minutes. Flip it over half way thru the time. Take it out and let it drain on a rack with paper towels.
