New Orleans Shrimp Boil By Cajun Rnewbbq Start off by cutting your celery ribs into halfs. Cut the bottoms off the garlic. Cut the onions in half and some into quarters. Cut some lemons in half and some into rounds. Also cut your sausage into 4" pieces. Now get your water up to a rolling boil. Then add in your Crawfish/shrimp/crab boil powder (season to taste), Liquid boil (season to taste) and the seasoning packet. Let that go for about 5 minutes, then taste the water and add seasoning if you desire and retest. Once satisfied add in the veggies. Let that go for 5 mins. Then put in the sausage, corn and red potato's. (you can add mushrooms, too). Let that got for10 -15 mins. Now you can add in a bottle of hot sauce if you want like I did. Now time to add in the shrimp. Let that boil for 3 mins. Then turn off the heat and put in a bag of ice to cool it down. Let that soak for 5-20 mins. All depends on how hot you want them. Then time to eat.
