Slow Cooked Rum Baked Beans
Rum Baked Beans By Cajun Rnewbbq Start off by frying up some bacon and chopping it up. Then in a Dutch oven pour in 2 can of kidney bean (drained). Then add the bacon, 1 cup of ketchup, 1/2 cup of yellow mustard, 1TBS. of vinegar, 2 TBS. Uncle Steve's South Texas Red, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 tsp of ground mustard, and 1/4 cup of dark rum. Stir to combine. Put on smoker at 300 degrees and let it go for several hours. I let mine go for 4 hours. to really meld. If you want it sooner by all means pull it off when you want.
