Detectives closely monitored Robles-Rodriguez's activities as he left his residence at 281 Linwood Avenue and entered a white Lexus. The surveillance team discreetly followed him to the intersection of Sherwood and Crosby avenues, where he allegedly conducted a cocaine sale to Dibella, who was driving a gray Jeep.
After the completion of the drug exchange, both individuals departed in separate directions. Detectives acted swiftly, initiating simultaneous traffic stops that resulted in the arrest of both suspects. Upon inspection, Dibella was found to be in possession of two small bags containing cocaine, while Robles-Rodriguez had 12 small bags of cocaine and $775 in cash on his person. Subsequently, they were promptly taken into custody by law enforcement.
With the suspects apprehended, detectives obtained a search warrant for Robles-Rodriguez's residence at 281 Linwood Avenue. A comprehensive search of the premises, including the first floor and basement, revealed a substantial quantity of evidence. Among the discoveries were three ounces of pure cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and $485 in cash. The street value of the seized drugs was estimated to be approximately $3,000.
As of now, Robles-Rodriguez remains detained at the Passaic County Jail, facing a total of seven counts of drug offenses. On the other hand, Dibella was charged with drug possession but subsequently released pending further investigation. The successful operation serves as a testament to the diligent efforts of law enforcement in combating drug-related crimes and maintaining the safety of the community.
