Inside the center you will find a museum, various viewpoints and restaurant serving up one of Pikes Peak's most famous treats, fresh donuts. The tradition of the donuts began early on in the Pikes Peak history with the original comfort station offering those braving the trip to the top these tasty treats. Said to be unlike any other donut you will eat they have a following almost as big as the mountain itself. What makes them so special? The recipe is said to have normal ingredients but with the altitude and a little love they are said to have a different texture and taste.
