A Hike To The Rumored Haunted Tower Of Oklahoma

Within the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Management Area you will find a series of trails. Amongst those the Jed Johnson Tower Hike. While this tower is an imposing structure in the mountains created by the Civilian Conservation Corps, its past itself has been one that has stirred stories of glowing lights at night and ghostly encounters. In the more modern day, the tower stands alone boarded up and in the whipping winds of southern Oklahoma, overlooking the low laying lake at its foot, but that doesn't stop people from enjoying a leisurely hike to its base to see the magnificent views and wonder if there really are ghosts in the Oklahoma tower.
