Wakita Is A Real Place!! Visit The Twister Filming Location & Museum In Oklahoma

When watching movies, often we expect fictitious locations and names which do not resemble those of actual people. Especially when referencing fiction movies. However, a small town in Oklahoma made its on screen debut in a big way with the movie Twister! Wakita, Oklahoma is indeed a real place with a wonderful community of residents. Being in the heart of tornado alley they have seen their fair share of real twisters. But none have put them on the map as much as the infamous movie Twister. Now you can visit the small town and browse some of the film locations, speak to residents and take a peek at some of the greatest movie props in film history in the Twister Movie Museum located in downtown. This is a movie lovers dream!!
